Training for nurses of interventional radiology laboratory (Kaunas Clinics)

In cooperation with Terumo Europe, the Kaunas Clinics of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences organized training for nurses in interventional cardiology and interventional radiology, during which, during the implementation of the Terumo Learning Edge program, health care professionals from Slovakia participated in a two-day learning session.

This educational program covers a variety of relevant topics: care before and after procedures, radiation safety and protection in the intervention operating room, complications and critical situations, participation in intervention procedures, as well as the sharing of best practices during interactive classes.

The participants of the program had the opportunity to learn complex methods of patient treatment and gain knowledge together with an experienced chief nurse Neringa Packeviciene, an intervention operating room team: Eduard Tsybulskyi, Brigita Augūnė and radiation protection specialist Egidijus Lysenko.
