Terumo unveiled the new stent of Ultimaster Nagomi

Terumo introduced a new stent of Ultimaster Nagomi, which is designed to treat stenosive or occlusive lesions of the coronary arteries.

The first commercial implantation of nagomi stent in the EMEA region was carried out by prof. A. Erglis, dr. I. Narbutė, dr. K. Griķis, together with nurses A. Grave, A. Jaunozola. , M.Paula in Riga (Latvia) at P. Stradins University Hospital. The intervention was broadcast live during the Baltic Summer Congress.

Baltic Summer” is an annual meeting during which cardiologists, cardiac surgeons, general practitioners and nurses from the Baltic states meet with world-famous experts from Germany, France, Japan, Poland, the USA, Australia and many other countries to discuss the latest developments, trends, share experience in the fields of interventional cardiology, structural procedures, electrophysiology and cardiac surgery.

IVUS-guided PCI in LM and LAD in a frail 83 years old patient with heavily calcified 3-vessel #coronary #disease and severe comorbidity: after lesion preparation with 3.5x10mm Cutting Balloon, #Ultimaster #Nagomi #DES 3.5x50mm was implanted in LAD and LM. The procedure completed with stent optimisation (4.0x12mm and 3.5x20mm NC Balloons).
