The training was attended by a group of health care professionals from the Czech Republic, who deepened their knowledge and got acquainted with the activities of the Interventional Cardiology Center of Kaunas Clinics of the Lithuanian University of Health Sciences Hospital. <\/p>\n\n<p>The training was conducted by cardiologist, professor Ram\u016bnas Unikas, together with doctor Rasa Ordiene and chief nurse Neringa Packevi\u010dien\u0117. Prof. Unikas presented the achievements of the center, future plans and the activities of the clinics. During the educational part, relevant topics were discussed, such as preoperative and postoperative care, radiation safety and protection in the intervention procedure operating room (CathLab), possible complications and emergency situations.
