In cooperation with Terumo Europe<\/a>, continuing training for interventional cardiology nurses was <\/a> organized at Kaunas Clinics of the <\/a>Lithuanian University of Health Sciences.<\/p>\n\n

During the implementation of the Terumo Learning Edge<\/a> program, health care professionals from the Czech Republic were greeted by the head of the Interventional Cardiology Center, cardiologist Prof. Ram\u016bnas Unikas, who presented the activities of the clinics and the center, achievements and further plans of the Interventional Cardiology Center.<\/p>\n\n

In the educational part of the program, relevant topics were presented to the guests: care before and after the procedures, radiation safety and protection in the interventional operating room, complications and critical situations, participation in interventional procedures. During the classes, examples of good practice were shared.<\/p>\n\n

The participants of the program had the opportunity to learn complex methods of patient treatment and gain knowledge together with an experienced chief nurse Neringa Packevi\u010dien\u0117, interventional operating room team: dr. Aiste \u017debrauskait\u0117, Eduard Tsybulskyi, Brigita Aug\u016bne and radiation protection specialist Egidijus Lysenko.<\/p>\n\n
