Due to the increasing complexity of interventions and limited resources, the perioperative team must function as a cohesive system. <\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The XXXVII Training Day of the Estonian Association of Operating<\/strong> Nurses brought together healthcare professionals to discuss what challenges are currently most affecting the work of operating departments \u2013 and what solutions could be the response.<\/p>\n\n<p>During the event, we talked about practical tools that allow us to increase the transparency of processes, reduce the likelihood of human errors, use time and tools more efficiently, and create a smoother path for patients throughout the surgical process. We emphasized the fact that technological solutions must not only be functional, but also properly integrated into everyday clinical practice \u2013 otherwise they remain unexploited. <\/p>\n\n<p>We presented how our solutions help operational teams manage time, tool availability, and data dissemination more efficiently across departments.
